Patrik Langvardt

Head Tennis Coach and founder

In 2013 Viljan opened with Patrik as one of the founders. Viljan Tennis became the name
of the project Patrik had in his head for many years when working as a Head Coach for
elite players in top clubs in Sweden and Denmark. The journey with Viljan started with 5
players being coached in Denmark to now 15 players on a regular basis and with
several camps, tournament trips and club consulting workshops throughout the year.
Patrik played professionally in the 90 ́s and represented Denmark in Davis Cup for many
years. He has been individual Danish Senior champion, and Swedish, Danish and German
Team Champion.
Patrik has coached several Danish and Swedish Davis Cup/Fed cup players as well as
junior national team members throughout the years. Among those is Danish nr 1 and
Wimbledon doubles champion Frederik Nielsen who has been a part of Viljan since the
start and with Patrik from 2012.
Although Patrik from the start has been a coach for elite players, his curiousity, passion and
will to know as many aspects of coaching as possible has taken his coaching journey into
many different areas. He has been responsible for a tennis school for 5 year old children,
organized and coached in several adult camps from new beginners to senior tour players
and then of course travelled as a coach on the ATP tour.
Viljan ( the will, the hunger, the eagerness) is the name of the academy and that is
what Patrik is all about.
